Caleb's New Car

I (Chesney) found a cool new car for Caleb almost a month ago, but I wanted to wait until we could post pictures of him using it before we posted an update on it.

I got a very good price on it at a rummage sale and so I bought it. There was only one small problem, Tim took the 4Runner for the weekend and I only had the Altima and Caleb's new car wouldn't fit. Luckily Katelyn was home and she had the van so she came to the rescue and we brought the car home. When we got home we cleaned it up. We waited until after our trip to New Mexico before weaning him off his crib and onto his new "big kid" bed.

We did one night with the car bed in his room but had him still sleep in his crib, and the next day for his nap, we put the mattress in the car, and hoped for the best. I peeked in and found out he was sleeping on the floor! That night though, he slept fine the whole night in his new car bed--he's a quick learner!

so we washed some more
Caleb got cold since he was so wet and the car was now in the shade so he got his Nemo towel and went inside while I finished up with the car
There it is all cleaned up and ready to be transformed into Caleb's new bed
Three weeks later (after getting back from the New Mexico trip), Caleb was sleeping in his new bed, with only one nap time sleeping on the floor. He quickly figured out that his bed is more comfortable than the carpet. We can now read him bedtime stories in bed.
The next morning, we found Caleb sound asleep, curled up in a ball (like always), with his blanket on the ground.
Since he didn't wake up from the camera flashes, we let him sleep a little longer with the nice warm blanket on top.
