Christmas Tree Hunting and Decorating

It's that time of year again when we go out to Crest Ranch, pick out a tree, and spend the rest of the day decorating the house for Christmas. This year Tyler is a little more mobile, so we had to do what we did for Caleb when he was little: put the Christmas tree up on a table!

Tyler and Caleb are so excited about getting a Christmas tree the next day they don't want to sleep.
Caleb, now a veteran of tree-hunting, is ready.

When we got home, Tyler took a nap while we put up the tree. We thought we were brilliant when we put the tree up on a table like we did when Caleb was little. But when Tyler woke up and saw the tree, the first thing he did was pulled up the step-stool and then climbed up on it to reach the tree. It's going to be a long Christmas season.

The next day was cold, so we lit the fire. We then had to put up a gate.
