Who knew that it could be this hot in San Francisco? During this record-breaking heat wave in the Bay Area, we left our 90 degree weather in Scotts Valley for a weekend of "cooling off" in 80 degree San Francisco.
As Bay Area residents, whenever we go to San Francisco, it's usually to show an out of town guest around. This time, we had some time in San Francisco to look around for ourselves.
We stayed in the Marina district just a block away from Fisherman's Wharf and walking distance from North Beach and Ghiardelli's square.
We also visited Crissy Field, the Palace of Fine Arts, Union Square, and the beach.
Yeah, it was still a little warm, but hey, it was 20 degrees cooler than the hottest temperatures in the Bay Area this weekend. Hopefully, it'll be a little cooler in the coming week.
Enjoy the pictures.

Spending a weekend in SF as tourists is fun. We try to do it once a year as well ... I wear a fanny pack just to make it more realistic, though.
Wow you got some really great pictures! I really like the one with Caleb facing away from the camera at the beach. Looks like so much fun!
